Thaumatin: Don’t Blink - Data Collected In Shutterless Rotation Mode

This dataset was recorded from a thaumatin crystal as a test of shutterless data collection on a Pilatus 6M PAD detector. 1800 frames were captured, each representing 0.2 degree rotation.

Useful Information

Data kindly provided by: Dr. K. Rajashankar of NE-CAT (sector 24) at the APS.
Sample: thaumatin
Beamline where data were collected: 24-IDC, Advanced Photon Source
Wavelength: 1.23980 Å (10000 eV)
Detector: Pilatus 6M (the HKL2000 definition file for this detector can be found here.)
Oscillation angle: 0.2 degree
Exposure: 0.2 sec/frame
Distance: 250 mm
Image file format: .cbf file extension (crystalographic binary file)
Protein sequence in FASTA format

Two options to download the data:

    Option 1 (easiest):

Use 'rsync' (linux/UNIX command) to download the compressed image files (command is in between quotes and should only be one line). There are 3600, but each file is approximately 270 kb:

"rsync -azv anonymous@bl831.als.lbl.gov:pub/ACA2014/Raj.Rajashankar/ ."

and you will be prompted to enter 'lysozyme'.

    Option 2:

Use Wget to download the 'wloop_1_#####.cbf.bz2' images (try this if you have a Windows OS).
